Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award 2015


The Vice president of India,Mr. M Hamid Ansari,felicatedIndian with the Pravasi Bhartiya SammanAward at the Valedictory Session at the 13th Pravasi Bhartiya Divas. Guyanese President and the chief Guest of the PBD 2015 was one of the recipient.

  4. Kanwaljit Singh Bakshi, New Zealand; a new Zealand politician, he is New Zealand’s first Indian and first Sikh Member of Parliament .
  5. Rajmal Parakh, Oman; an Entrepreneur and philanthropist from Oman.
  6. Duranikannu Karunakaran, Seychelles ; Judge from Seychelles.
  7. Essop Goolam Pahad , South Africa former Minister in the Presidency of the Republic of south Africa.
  8. Shah bharatkumar Jayantilal,UAE.
  9. Ashraf Palarakunnummal,UAE; a mechanic who runs a ganga in Ajman, he has played key role in repatriation of about 2,000 dead bodies to India in the pat 14 years.
  10. Mahendra Nanji Mehta, Uganda; Uganda –based businessman of Indian Origin.
  11. Nathu Ram Puri, Indian-Origin entrepreneur, founder of Purico Group.
  12. Lord Raj Loomba, Britain, philanthropist,founder and executive chairman of clothing company rinku group, and a Liberal Democrat member of the House of Lord.
  13. Satyanarayan Nadella, an India-American,current Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Microsoft, he was born in Hyderabad.
  14. Lulla Kamlesh,US; chief scientist for Earth observation in the Human Exploration Science officer at the Johnson space Center at NASA
  15. (Mrs.)Nandini Tandon, USA,PH.D., serves as an Advisor at Science Futures, she also served as a managing Director of life Science at Lumria Captial Corp.
